Hossein Eblis

Amir Hossein Maghsoudlou, better known by his stage name Amir Tataloo, is an Iranian musician. He was born on September 21, 1983 in Majidiye, Tehran. Amir attended elementary school years in Rasht, but moved to Tehran again and to work and study at the same time. From 14 to 16 he worked in a carpentering workshop and in a grocery store from 16 to 18.

He began performing at the same time as others in Persian underground music such as Pishro, Tohi and Eblis. “Boro Az Pishe Man”, “Gorbe Sefat” and “1001 Shab” were his first releases. He later focused on reaching Iranian audiences in Los Angeles. “Vay Ke Che Haliye” and “Yeki Behesh Zang Bezane” made him very popular.

He performed in Dubai and then returned to Iran.

His style is a combination of Pop, R&B and Rap that he calls “Tatality”. “Maghze Dar Rafte”, “Hesse Mamooli” and “Alo2” features this style.

On December 2, 2013, he was arrested by Iran’s moral police. He was released on December 4 after posting bail promising that he will appear in court.
